Digital Impressions

Using a convenient handheld device, we can create high-resolution, 3-D images of your teeth and gums. Available immediately, these images are then used to thoroughly evaluate the structure if your dentition and to identify any problems that need to be addressed. The radiation-free laser takes only 2-3 minutes to provide a complete picture of your entire oral structure. Digital impressions are used for restorative, cosmetic and orthodontic treatment planning.

There is NO need for messy, gooey impression trays that make most patients gag or feel uncomfortable.

Digital X-rays

Providing safer, low-radiation diagnostic capabilities for patients of all ages, digital x-rays are used as needed in all types of dental care. Digital x-rays create high-resolution images that are immediately visible on our computer system and can be kept in your personal digital dental record for reference or sharing with other healthcare professionals.

iTero Intraoral Camera

A handheld device that can scan inside the mouth, the iTero intraoral camera provides a detailed view of all aspects of your oral health. While we are scanning, patients can watch on the computer screen. This device can help our team to detect everything from tooth decay to gum disease and damage in the very early stages, often before they would be spotted in a visual exam. Early detection allows for more conservative treatment and helps keep your smile as healthy as possible through the years, minimizing the need for invasive treatments that remove tooth structure.

Digital CT Imaging

Digital CT scanning provides multi-dimensional, high-resolution images of the mouth and oral structures. It uses minimal radiation and can be completed in less than a minute for a rapid and comprehensive ability to diagnose your dental concerns. We may use the CT scanner as part of planning for a range of treatments:

  • Placement of dental implants
  • Wisdom teeth extractions
  • Evaluating tooth impactions
  • TMJ treatment
  • Airway assessments and sleep apnea
  • Full facial and jaw 3D images
